Discover Switzerland on Two Wheels

You'd think that renting a bike in Switzerland would be more expensive, in comparison to the prices you would have to pay elsewhere in Europe.
You'd be wrong, if that is what you're thinking.
Renting a bike in Switzerland is actually possible for FREE!
At Genève Roule, you can rent a bike for free until October 28 from four different locations in the city, open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. All you need to do is to show a valid ID and leave Sfr 20.- deposit (which you will get again upon your return). FREE bike rentals are limited to 4 hours of use. If you need to bike longer, you need to pay 1.- per hour. Still a great rate, fyi. Helmets and locks are also rented out for free.
At Lausanne Roule, it's just about the same as in Genève Roule except that they start 30 minutes earlier and close 30 minutes later.
Nuechatel Roule has the same renting hours as Lausanne.
Zuerirollt is, obviously, in Zurich. And Bern
rollt is, obviously, in Bern. The wonderful thing about Zuerirollt and Bern rollt is that, apart from bikes, you can also rent Elektrobikes, Trottinetts, Skate-Boards and Kick-Boards for free. Now... can you think of any other great way to discover these Swiss cities on a budget?!
