Cheap Eats in Paris

Hungry for Paris.jpg

Budget dining in Paris? Sounds like and oxymoron! But according to Alexander Lobrano, finding affordable meals in the City of Light is not just a pipe dream. His new book, Hungry for Paris tells you everything you need to know about finding budget meals in Paris, without having to resort to the humiliation of eating at McDonald's. Some of Lobrano's suggestions include:

* Save money on expensive designer water by asking for a carafe d'eau, otherwise known as tap water.

* If breakfast is not included with your hotel room, resist the temptation to splurge on the hotel breakfasts. Instead, choose one of the local cafes.

* Go Vietnamese. In general, they are the cheapest restaurants in Paris.

* A view is nice, but it will cost ya'! There are perfectly good restaurants in Paris that don't supply a romantic view. However, the food is just as good. It just does not cost as much.
