A trip to Colombia is not complete without a stop in Bogota, the lively capital city. An interesting destination for those who wants a culturally diverse experience.
A lot may find this country a bit chaotic but then that is partly what makes it fascinating. Its history as interesting as its present state. And should you be interesting know more about the country's evolution throughout history, I strongly recommend you to pay a visit to some of the museums.
Recommended Museums:
- Museo del Oro, one of the most important gold museums in the world.
- Museo Arqueologico
- Museo Nacional
- Museo de Arte Colonial
BUDGET TIP: Try to schedule your trip to the Museum on the last Sunday of the month. Entrance during those days are FREE. Expect long lines, though.
