Well, imagine no more. Today is Blog Action Day. And this year, you can help spread awareness, along with many other bloggers, about the ENVIRONMENT. Help inform people about the preservation, restoration and improvement of our natural environment.
Let your voice be heard and join Blog Action Day 2007 today. You can:
- Post on your blog about the environment (in relation to your blog topic)
- You can donate your day's earnings to an environmental charity
- You can promote Blog Action Day around the web.
Here at Flyaway-Weblog, we encourage budget travelers to do random acts of kindness to help fellow shoestring travelers with their expenses. Parallel to this kind of selfless gesture, we would also like to encourage fellow globetrotters to help preserve the environment by these simple acts:
- when surrounded by the beauty of nature, observe the "take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints and kill nothing but time" mantra
- do not litter. Wherever you may find yourselves, always look for a trash can. If unavailable, stash it in your bag or pocket until you find the next garbage bin.
- When self-catering, use your backpack rather than a plastic bag to carry the stuff you bought
Whichever way you choose to participate, it will help spread the word.
