Best Friends Animal Society & Grand Canyon Getaway

IMG_0067.jpg

Do you love animals? Have you always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon? The Best Friends Animal Society is working with Green Earth Travel to offer you a four-night vacation that will combine the best of both worlds.

The trip begins in Las Vegas, where a private van will pick you up at McCarran International Airport and bring you to the best friends animal Sanctuary, located near Kanab, Utah. Following a tour of the facilities, participants will assist Best Friends staff with the daily chores. After two days of volunteering with these lovable creatures, you might not want to leave! However, you will probably want to join Canyon Rim Adventures on the three day, two night guided backcountry adventure.

During the Best Friends portion of the trip, participants will stay on site in Angel Canyon. The next three days will be spent exploring the Grand Canyon. The guides from Canyon Rim Adventures will help you set up camp. These experts in camp cooking will prepare a four-star meal! You will appreciate their excellent cooking after spending your days exploring the Canyon's geology and history.
