Fodor's had a useful piece a few weeks ago on how to keep from being tied up in the crowds at U.S. National Parks.
Fodor's talked to Ken Burns, who recently filmed an excellent documentary on U.S. National Parks.
"As millions of American know, it is possible to be in a traffic jam in Yellowstone, to experience the frustrations of the modern world in these parks. And this just takes a little bit of extra planning. Go before or after schools are out for summer vacation. Go early in the morning and later when you can see the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets...You can read the entire interview withhim here.
