Are you an epicurean?

Wouldn't it be nice to dine at Michelin-starred restaurants after a day of sightseeing? If you had the money, I'd tell you to buy a Michelin Red Guide, THE oldest and most famous European hotel and restaurant guide. However, if you had money to burn, you probably would not be reading Flyaway-Weblog, would you?
So rather than give you a guide which your challenged-pocket will not be able to use anyway, I will just point you to the best alternative to fine dining in Europe...
Check out baby bistros (spin-off of big-named restaurants) and dine for a fraction of the cost of dining at the main restaurant. In Paris, for example, dining at Lucas Carton - a popular Right Bank restaurant made noteworthy by Alain Senderens (one of the founding father of Nouvelle Cuisine) - would have definitely made a big hole in your pocket. Fortunately for us (and still a big question mark to some), Senderens gave back his Michelin stars and re-opened his restaurant into a much simpler brasserie de luxe. More affordable (but not cheap) but still an epicurean's dream.
