All Asia Pass of Cathay Pacific

All Asia Pass of Cathay Pacific

To date, the only low-fare, long-haul airline that goes to Asia from another continent is Oasis Hong Kong Airlines. Not much help for budget travelers in the US who plan to visit Asia since the airline's route is only between Asia and Europe.

But, should you be planning on touring Asia anytime this year, you would be glad to know that there is a cheaper option for those whose flights are originating from the US.

Cathay Pacific's 2006 All Asia Pass is the answer.

For US$1,499+, you can fly to Hong Kong (RT from NY, SF and LA) and any or ALL of 18 Cities in Asia. Asian cities included are: bali, Bangkok, Colombo, Fukuoka, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Karachi, Kuala Lumpur, Nagoya, Osaka, Penang, Sapporo, Seoul, Singapore, Surabaya, Taipei and Tokyo.

Departure from the US should be between August 21 and December 6, 2006.

Want to get an additional US$200 discount? All you need to do is to register as a Cathay Pacific eNews recipient.

In addition, for an additional amount, you can (1) add Sydney, Delhi, or Hanoi in your itinerary, or (2) extend your travel period in Asia from 21 days to 30 or 90 days; and/or (3) purchase an upgrade to Business Class.

Of course, there are restrictions involved. Check out this site for the details.
